Hey, I'm Lucy!

I am a Fashion & Print artist based on the Essex-Suffolk border, creating art on both the body and walls. I use multimedia, including print, surface decoration and fabrics, to create fun and accessible art and clothing.

What has Luce been up to?

Finishing touches☕️

Since I can’t show you the exhibition yet because that’d be cheating, a short clip of one of the jobs I spent doing yesterday. Numbering, naming and signing my prints!

This little teacup is a Lino on gorgeous textured paper so some prints pick up the effect and create unique versions between each print. They will be on sale at the exhibition, have a flick through the browsers to find them. There are only 8 of them so make sure you’re quick.

Can’t wait for you to see everything and to be able to post the insane amount of content that’s clogging up my phone.

It’s going up!🥹

A tad behind from the chaos of last week but Sunday we finally got to see our work in the space. I’ve been over again with the crew today and seeing it up & hung in it’s new home is an indescribable feeling.

Graduating last summer and having your work on display was an absolute joy, but to go from 2 rooms with over 90 students work on display to 8 collections in a single space and bringing the focus up close & personal alongside 7 other fabulous artists is truly something else.

I’ve chosen 3 accessories, 2 framed artworks and a hand bound portfolio of my collection to display in the space, and I cannot wait for next Saturday for it to be open for you all to see.

This little print course on a Sunday has become my new family & favourite place. I’m proud of us all.

I am the tea you are having ☕️

Just a few more photos of the silk Sabrina & Bridgerton inspired dress. I’m in LOVE with it. I will admit I saved the best for last.
This shoot was fun too, just grabbing every pink item I owned, proudly a tea lover through and through.

“I am the tea you are having” ~ Violet Bridgerton☕️

This was such a fun project, I was very graciously given 5m of an old silk tablecloth which took me no time to decide what I wanted to make.

I absolutely adored Sabrina Carpenter’s boots on tour with the heart cutout and wanted to use that somewhere within this project, and of course it’s Bridgerton season too so why not merge Pop Princess with Regency Princess.

It’s not everyday you can dress up as a sweet and run down the road at freezing.

Another dress that had been lodged in my brain that I absolutely had to make. Each panel meticulously calculated to make sure I got the perfect circle, then the bodice made inspired by vintage patterns I was given by a dear friend of mine. And to continue that childhood joy, I found this lovely teddy bear print cotton. Oh and the beret? I had to use that middle of the skirt for something, obviously 🤭
