Becoming a childhood favourite winter treat isn't usually a goal for many people; however, it was for me in December 2025. Christmas occasion wear has become predictable and repetitive, so I wanted to create something inspired by the traditional peppermint swirl sweet and a few vintage patterns donated by a dear friend of mine. Too fragile to use, I looked at the original patterns and used those to inspire my own, drafting them off of my body to make a comfortable fit, even after Christmas dinner!
